Living Off the Grid

An additional advantage to learning about all of the systems involved in "Living Off the Grid," is that one is forced to pay attention to the systems we depend on daily, while living ON the grid.  This is a true "hands on" course and covers all of the systems required to live entirely independently, including alternative power sources, sourcing water, dealing with waste, heating and cooling methods, communication, and even obtaining food, away from traditional food sources.  This course is riddled with practical knowledge, and will surely change how students see the world around them, permanently.
